FEMA NSGP Security System Installation
The FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) supports security improvements for eligible nonprofit organizations at high risk of terrorist or other extremist attack. If your organization is preparing a project, SEH Security can help develop an equipment and installation scope for its facility.

What is target hardening under the
FEMA NonProfit Security Grant Program?
Target hardening means improving a facility’s ability to prevent, detect or respond to a threat. The right measures depend on the site’s documented risks, existing systems and the applicable funding guidance. A camera system may improve visibility, while access control can help manage entry and alarms can alert staff to an intrusion.
Security Camera, Access Control and Alarm Installation for NSGP Projects
SEH can propose security cameras, commercial access control, intrusion alarms, video intercoms and public address systems, along with the wiring and network components required for the proposed installation. Each requested measure should be tied to a specific facility need. Equipment eligibility and procurement requirements must be checked against the current NSGP notice and state instructions.

How to Apply for the FEMA
Nonprofit Security Grant Program
Nonprofit organizations generally apply as subapplicants through their state administrative agency. The agency provides local instructions and deadlines, which may be earlier than federal deadlines. Applicants should review the current program guidance, document their risk and assemble the materials their state requires. SEH can provide a proposed system scope and installation quote for the organization to review against those requirements.
Request a FEMA NSGP Security System Installation Quote
Share your site location, existing security equipment, the improvements you are considering and any relevant vulnerability assessment. Contact SEH to discuss the equipment and installation work and request a quote. The nonprofit remains responsible for its application and for confirming what the grant will reimburse or pay.

No. Eligibility depends on the current program rules and the nonprofit’s risk, not solely on its religious affiliation.
Does a quote guarantee funding?
No. An agency reviews the application and determines awards.
When should we contact an installer?
