Case Studies: Real Commercial Security Projects
Real jobs, real problems, real results.
Here is a look at a few recent projects: what the client needed, what we installed, what made the job tricky, and how it turned out. Client names are kept private for their security.
Law Firm Office, Paramus, NJ
Cameras · Access Control · Alarm · Facial Recognition
The challenge
This law firm had no break-ins. They had a basic setup and wanted a real security system: cameras, doors and alarm all working together instead of three separate things.
What we installed
- About 30 AI security cameras
- Access control on 10 doors, with facial recognition entry for staff
- Full alarm system with siren and glass-break detection
- Door-held-open alerts: if a door is propped open too long, a siren sounds right at that door until someone closes it
- A magnetic-lock door with a simple red exit button instead of a keypad, per the client’s request
What made it tricky
- The office stayed open the whole time. Some rooms were only available at certain hours, so we scheduled around their day and moved fast in those spaces.
- Making the doors and the alarm work as one system. Staff with the right credentials walk in through an access door and the alarm turns off automatically. No running to a keypad. Anyone without a credential has about 30 seconds before the alarm goes off and police are sent.
The result
The firm is fully covered: doors, alarm, glass-break and cameras. The AI cameras do the searching for you. The system flags people coming and going with snapshots, and if you need something specific, you can search for “red car” or “person in gray shorts” and jump straight to the footage. No scrubbing through hours of video. It all works from a phone or computer, anywhere.
“It was a game changer.”
Law firm client, Paramus, NJ
Warehouse, Lakewood, NJ
Cameras · Alarm · New Move-In
The challenge
The client had just taken over a warehouse with no security at all and was about to move in a lot of valuable inventory. They needed cameras and an alarm working before the goods came through the door.
What we installed
- Security cameras covering the loading docks, entrances and warehouse floor
- Full alarm system protecting the building
What made it tricky
The timeline. The system had to be up and running right at move-in, so the client could bring in their inventory, especially the high-value items, without a single unprotected night. We scheduled the install around their move so everything was live from day one.
The result
The warehouse was protected from the moment the inventory arrived. The owner can see what is happening from a phone or computer, with cameras right where it matters: trucks, deliveries and the loading area. If something goes missing, they can pull up who came and went and when, instead of guessing.
24/7 Factory & Warehouse, Lakewood, NJ
Cameras · Access Control · Wi-Fi · Cabling
The challenge
This 24/7 factory and warehouse in Lakewood, over 100,000 square feet, had lots of employees coming and going around the clock. Management had no reliable way to see who was on site, when people arrived or left, or what was happening on the floor, at the loading docks and around expensive machinery that runs nonstop.
What we installed
- About 60 security cameras inside and outside the property
- Access control to track who comes and goes
- Wi-Fi access points across the facility to support the handheld devices staff use on the floor
- New cabling infrastructure, including very long runs across the building
What made it tricky
- The factory never stopped. We worked while machines ran and staff worked, using lifts and moving around equipment and obstacles to run cable up to the high ceilings.
- Size and timeline. Over 100,000 square feet, very long cable runs, and a deadline of about one to two weeks.
The result
Every area has its own camera: receiving and delivery, the loading docks, the chutes, the production floor, the second-floor rooms, even the lunchroom. Management can see exactly what is happening across the whole facility, confirm who is coming and going, and keep an eye on the machinery and the work, day or night.
